Joey Bada$$ - Waves
You guys already know how I feel about Freddie Joachim (ie. I think he’s the best shit since sliced bread) so to hear Joey Bada$$ spitting over one of my favorite FJ/Mellow Orange tracks is pretty mindblowing. I’ve been catching up on mixtapes and EPs over the past few weeks — Joey’s 1999 is a MUST HEAR. It’s probably the best mixtape I’ve heard all year.
